The HRS – HOTEL RESERVATION SERVICE Robert Ragge GmbH, which has its headquarters in Cologne/Germany, acquires the majority holding in the Austrian Tiscover AG and their subsidiary companies of Tiscover Deutschland GmbH in Munich/Germany, Tiscover Italia Srl in Trento/Italy and Tiscover UK Ltd. in Crawley (West Sussex). HRS was founded in 1972 and has a total of 330 employees today – with branch offices in Paris, London, Shanghai and Warsaw. HRS provides a world-wide electronic hotel reservation system for private and business travelers, supported by a data base which comprises more than 225,000 hotels and accommodations.
HRS and Tiscover will strengthen their common position as market leader
In the long term, the significant cooperation between Tiscover and HRS will open up new perspectives and dimensions exceeding by far the current business scopes of both companies: besides Tiscover and HRS, there are only a few e-commerce companies within the global tourism industry that can look back on such a long history with such a wide range of outstanding and successful innovations for the entire industry. And also in future we will do our best to continue this wonderful story of success. Our travel portals register about 76 million users and almost 1.5 billion page impressions.
