The new www.tiscover.com site was launched on 1 May. It offers comprehensive information on regions, ski areas, lakes - and the best prices for more than 25,000 accommodations in the Alps!

'My bed in the Alps' is the claim of Tiscover's new Alpine Portal, www.tiscover.com. “We've got a clear customer promise. No other travel portal offers more bookable accommodations in the Alps”, says Konrad Plankensteiner, CEO Tiscover. Products range from farmstays to 5-star hotels. There are many new search options, especially via interactive maps and topics. Search results can conveniently be filtered according to a number of criteria and then be compared. Every accommodation is shown with information about its location, facilities, board, room price, and with many pictures. Additionally, user-generated accommodation ratings will significantly assist users in selecting the perfect hotel.

Convenient booking and best price guarantee

From 1 May, online booking is even easier for those who have found a suitable hotel on www.tiscover.com. For example, credit card information is no longer required; payment is made on site. Another new feature is Tiscover's best price guarantee: “Guests will book the lowest daily price available. That means no other portal offers the item at a lower price, not even the accommodation's website,” explains Matthias Grundböck, Tiscover Marketing CEO. “That provides security for our customers, saves time and strenuous price comparisons.”

At present, www.tiscover.com offers a variety of bargains, early booker and last minute offers for a summer holiday in the Alps. In the following weeks, a variety of bookable packages will be available (topics include hiking, mountain biking/cycling, family holiday).

Tiscover facts

Tiscover, headquartered in Innsbruck (Tirol/Austria), was founded in 1991 as TIS GmbH and developed Austria’s first electronic tourism information system. TIS@WEB, one of the world’s first travel sites, was launched in 1995.
