For the first time, the travel portal
www.tiscover.com was the main sponsor of the 2008/09 Jack Wolfskin Four Hills Tournament. With the help of sales service provider 123Boerse, unique souvenirs and exclusive items provided by top winter sports athletes were sold by auction, which raised over 3,000 euros for the SOS Children’s Village.
Auction highlights included the winner’s shirt of the Four Hills Tournament worn by Wolfgang Loitzl (sold for € 201), and a racing suit worn by Kathrin Gutensohn (sold for € 250). From 11 to 18 January 2009, sports enthusiasts had the opportunity to bid on 29 unique items provided by winter sports stars. 123Boerse, awarded PowerSeller status in 2007, was responsible for handling the entire charity auction on eBay.at. The starting bid for each item was 1 euro. Other auction items: The “10 Jahre MILKA“ helmet autographed by Martin Schmitt sold for € 211, a pair of XC skis provided by Gregor Schlierenzauer sold for € 171, and a ski helmet autographed by Benjamin Raich sold for € 151.
