Tiscover, headquartered in Innsbruck (Tirol/Austria), was founded in 1991 as TIS GmbH and developed Austria’s first electronic tourism information system. TIS@WEB, one of the world’s first travel sites, was launched in 1995.

www.tiscover.com, the travel portal for the Alpine area, today features over 25,000 accommodations available for online booking.

In March 2008 TISCOVER GmbH was taken over by Cologne-based HRS - HOTEL RESERVATION SERVICE Robert Ragge GmbH. HRS was founded in 1972 and has subsidiaries in Paris, London, Shanghai, Warsaw, Rome and Istanbul. HRS operates a global electronic hotel reservation system for leisure and business travellers, built on a database of over 250,000 hotels.
